The beginning

I am really excited about starting a new blog dedicated to food. The idea came to me about an hour ago while driving home from grocery shopping. I even decided on the name which was going to be 'cooking up a storm.' I thought that it would describe my method of cooking which leaves the kitchen looking like a bit like a force nine gale has blown through it...

I say 'was going' to be called, because on checking I've just found that it's already been done. So I've had a 
re-think and 'cooking up a storm in a teacup' has been born. 

Here goes...
