I wanted to make a granny square cushion cover like the blanket in Nanny McPhee. I was saving up odd balls of wool but I couldn't find a crochet hook. I was dying to start making it so I knitted this fair-isle one instead. It was such fun to do because it was random, no rules. It's nice and cuddly and comfy and it's given me a great idea. You'll probably think I'm mad if I tell you .

This Natural Gas advert that I first saw over at Meet me at Mikes ages ago might give you a clue.....

  3. I've never been game to try fairisle but your cushion looks wonderful and it's always a bonus when things knit up nice and cuddly (which unfortunately is not always the case! What on earth is your mad idea I wonder?

Like Joan I will definately join in your meme but need to find some time to do a good job of it - thanks for inviting me.
