Around the World in Eighty Gardens

They say it's an ill wind that blows no good and the cold winds may have blown a nasty cold virus my way and confined me to the house all week but they also blew a little bit of lovely warm Cuban, Mexican and Australian air too. I discovered a wonderful series of programs called Around the World in 80 Gardens with Monty Don and it kept me going all week.

I'm obsessed with gardens, but gardening programs can be a bit boaring. Not this one. Monty Don takes you to the most exciting and interesting ones from multi-million pound gardens of Architects and film producers to some of my favourite like floating ones in Mexico City. Where people plant lime trees and onions and all sorts in little floating boats or containers and lovingly tend them......amazing....
