Green gift wrapping ideas...

I've been collecting ephemera over the last couple of weeks that I thought might be useful for gift wrapping.  Nothing that I thought was really valuable or useful, no vintage dress patterns.  Things like newspapers printed in different languages, especially ones that have beautiful graphic script like Japanese or Persian.   Old birthday cards, wallpaper, and even some discarded blueprints that I extricated from a building site when visiting a friend...Then I tied everything up with a lovely big ball of garden twine...perfect...

  1. Lovely - I like wrapping things in stuff other than gift wrap too. My sister sent me a parcel this year wrapped in a beautiful, but ancient and slightly torn, silk scarf, which was gorgeous. I am very impressed that you have all this wrapping done already!
p.s Love the new look design, very chic!

  2. oh thanks Lucy...I love things wrapped in scarves too...I believe it's an old Japanese tradition. It makes you wonder what stories the old scarf could tell...
