...another runaway day...an invitation to cross the border and explore a new location...arriving early before the madness, to try some amazing arabic food and fig ice cream, discover an awesome art shop and even spot this cool foodie (that I have a bit of a secret crush on) chatting merrily next to me, a head above everyone else...
in his words..."love and elderflowers"...

the walls are stunning! Oh to be there in person. You are fortunate to have so many historical places near you :) Glad to see you with camera in hand and out and about. I bet you've loved unpacking but couldn't wait to be free to explore!
ReplyDeleteI Know Karen. It was a great location just across the border in Wales. I can't wait to do more exploring but need to spend some more time at home to sort things out.

OHG Debby, what a fantastic food festival, so different from anything I have attended here. Mike and I were talking the other night about one day taking a trip across the pond, I think I would love that, and if we do I am calling you!
ReplyDeleteIt was amazing Tracey. Oh do that would be even more amazing Tracey. I would genuinly love to meet up one day.

Wow! What an amazing festival...good food, beautiful landscape, history.... I'm so glad you were able to enjoy it (and that you had your camera with you). I can almost taste the food.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
You're welcome Emily. It was a good day especially because our new neighbours invited us to go along with them and they are so nice to be with. The food was scrumptious too.
