I just found a 1950's piece of fabric that I used to make this cushion cover for 20p! and the anglepoise lamp for £3! I would have liked a bit brighter colour, but it works so I'm not complaining.

I got the bargain chair below, a couple of months ago....actually I got two for £5! They were bent wood oyster chairs in that kind of golden/orange teak colour, in great condition apart from a few scratches and just needed a lick of paint. Which I got from here

Which is where you can re-cycle any paint you don't want.

And I made some cushions out of remnant's of other fabrics I had left over, so now nobody complains of having a numb bum when they use my computer!
