I remember watching Martha Carney's film about the vanishing of bees a couple of years ago and was truly shocked at how brutally the bees are treated in the States. I know there are multi factorial reasons for their decline, but I think shipping them around the country on a continual basis and in a brutal fashion is part of the answer.
Our bees arrived on Monday to fill the hive we bought three years ago, so it's lots of fingers crossed they will be well and happy.
Oh I hope that your bees are happy Choclette and settle down in their new home. I so want to keep bees and think they would like our garden as they do visit a lot.
