Home

It was an amazing weekend with lots going on, lots of people and doings, meals and things and new experiences, but too much to write. We're back home now and I made a simple smoked fish salad and I started to embroider the dress I'm making that was inspired by a trip with 'H' to the V & A a while ago. If you've never been there before and get a chance to go, you definitely should.

...Just look at all those gorgeous dresses...

  1. How simply beautiful! Sometimes I think if would be nice if we still dressed in such beautiful gowns, but can you imagine the laundry?!
Glad you are home and it's nice to hear you had such a grand time.

    1. We didn't go far but it was all so cosmepolitan that it was almost like circumventing the globe in four days but I forgot to take my camera with me. I missed so many amazing photograph opportunites. We plan to get to France next week for a few days I must remember to take it with me so I have some nice photo's to share when I get back.

Maybe we'll do that one day Karen. That would be lovely.

  4. Gorgeous! I wondered where all those lovely costumes (and such an extensive selection) would all reside and I shouldn't have been surprised to see that it was the amazing V&A. I went there one day many, many years ago but there's always time for another visit isn't there?!

Enjoy your trip to France and remember that camera!

  6. Been to that very same exhibition at the V&A with my sister, who's a big fashionista when she came to visit- and she really loved it. Even I, whos not so much into fashion (I'll rather eat), rather enjoyed it! Have a good time in France :) x
