A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see.

  5. i'm reading your comments. that home is amazing looking!!! please keep us updated on the visit. are you going to bring your camera? i live in atlanta. america alone doesn't have very old building for obvious reason, but atlanta especially does not since the whole city was burned to the ground during the civil war. i absolutely love the history in european homes. thanks for sharing!

  6. Hi Julie, thank you for coming over and commenting. I will be taking the camera and try and get as many photos as possible. We are going this morning and I'm so excited. That's such a shame about the buildings being destroyed by the civil war.
Nice to meet you. Have a beautiful weekend,
    Debby

    1. It was lovely, and the village perfect but the photograph very deceiving. But it's all a big learning curve for us and it's helping us to realise exactly what we are looking for.

  10. It looks like something out of a picture book! Sorry it didn't live up to its billing but that just means you are one step closer to finding 'the one' doesn't it? Hope you're not too disappointed.

    1. It was gorgeous Caz and the village idyllic, but I'm sure the photo had been photoshopped it was minuscule in real life. But we had a lovely day out and the adventure continues...we will just have to keep in mind that the camera does lie...
