cooking up a storm in a teacup

Hurray, 'A's' big sister is here. Whenever his relatives visit from Iran they always bring little edible treats.
Like lavoshak or fruit leather made by cooking fruits to an intense fruit puree and then drying to a sweet/sour delicacy.
Nuts and dried fruits preserved in tasty spices.
Dried berries to make exotic jewelled rice or sour cherries that we drop into Vodka to transform it into a deep burgundy nectar.
