It's on the way.....the Virginia creeper is on the turn....a lovely autumnal red. It's actually six weeks away but somehow you can sense the premature creeping-in of that 'season of mellow fruitfulness'. 
Tiny little sour, blueberries.....at last they are blue.
The first crop of yellow cherry plums on the little plum tree.
Best get knitting........
I know it's the exact same time as last year but it feels like it's been a quick turning of the seasons this year. Only yesterday it feels it was summer and here it is nudging back in.
ReplyDeleteI really love Autumn, but last winter seemed so long that I was hoping for an Indian Summer......I must just try to enjoy every bit of it.....
