More pink things.

A new garden acquisition from Peach Croft Farm carboot sale on Sunday. I can't remember the name of this plant but it's so delicate that the flower petals just look like paper. Isn't it beautiful?

  1. The plant looks like granny's bonnet, or acquileigia (sp?). The flower doesn't so much. It is beautiful. I am buying plants from my local markets and car boot sales at the moment. They're not as expensive and I am finding lots of old-school goodness.

  2. Thanks Katie. I bought this off a sweet old lady who told me the name but I can't remember what it is. She also gave me lots of gardening advice about the best place to plant it and what to do with it in winter. I hope it survives.

What a lovely name Granny's bonnet. I just love the nick-names that people give to plants.
