Saturday afternoon

The forecast was rain, and the plan was cinema, to see The Illusionist. We drove to the Phoenix in Jericho, but as we arrived the clouds disappeared, the sun came out and there was a boating celebration on the river. So we made hay whilst the sun shone and walked along the river to Port Meadow and had a drink in the Perch. A lovely late summer afternoon.

Hopefully we can catch the film mid-week, it's half price on Wednesday, so even better.....
