Putting the Garden to Bed

It's time to put the garden to bed for the winter.....so any spare minute is spent cutting the grass, sorting out the furniture, reclaiming the garden shed from the ivy that has caterpillared it's way under the eaves. There are tons of apples and the courgette plants are still producing mini sausage like fruits.... but the tomato plants are now compost, whilst bowls full of mini green tomatoes ripen on the kitchen window sill.
