Look what came in my organic veg box this week. Isn't it beautiful? It's a Romanesco cauliflower. A friend lent me Anjum Anand's Indian Every Day recipe book and I'm going to try making Aloo Gobhi, Potatoes with cauliflower. But not yet. It's just too beautiful to cut into yet.I just want to keep looking at it for a little while longer...
Oh my, that's absolutely incredible!! I have never seen (or heard) of cauliflower like that before.
PS. I'll let you in on a little secret, Aloo Gobhi is my all-time FAVOURITE Indian dish ... it's the one I make at home, and always look for on the menu when dining out at an Indian restaurant.
I can't wait to hear how your lovely recipe works out! :)
It's Sunday and I still haven't had the heart to cut it Tracey!...thankfully the vegetables are harvested on Monday for delivery Tuesday and so keep for ages.....
I'll let you know how the Aloo Gobhi turns out...I'm sure it won't be half as good as yours....
Are you sure that is for eating?? Wow how amazing!! never seen anything like that.
ReplyDeleteLooks more like an exotic coral!
Thanks for coming over Galit.
ReplyDeleteIt is gorgeous isn't it...almost too nice too eat......!
It really is too lovely to eat isn't it? Still it's day will come and I think Aloo Gobhi will be a fitting end for it!
