Weekend = Staying with friend that has the greenest fingers despite living in a metropolis. Trying out lots of new ingredients with her like Buffalo milk that's low in cholesterol but really creamy. Bringing back tons of bay leaves and rosemary and planning a wicked Sunday Roast with herby garlic chicken and rosemary focaccia for next weekend, and maybe even trying to make my own pasta with OO pasta flour.
Bargain basement lamp find for £3 that replaced one that was blinding us, and making people sitting under it think we were giving them the third degree...but will definitely get used somewhere else.
Back home Sunday in time to meet up with felt-making friend for afternoon tea at the Christmas Sale in the old village church Hall before meeting 'A' to go and buy Christmas tree...
...but we were too late...so new plan for after work tomorrow...
