Bye for now

Spring is in the air, the birds wake us at 4am every day and there are lots of things I should be doing...Preparing for the Easter holidays and Iranian new year, pruning trees and planting seeds then watching them grow, getting the hammock out of mothballs, (metaphorical ones) collecting sticks from the woods to get the garden-oven fired for bread-making,  sewing dresses and knitting tops for me and H.

But most of all I should be drawing and making and researching, photographing and filming and  working on submissions...I've been procrastinating...being naughty writing here when I should have been doing lots of other things...so I'm going to say goodbye for a bit...I'll still be reading lots of books and blogs too and maybe posting a bit here or here.

If I don't tell you I'll creep back...this blog writing thing can be quite addictive...I'll miss it but at the same time I'm excited...it feels liberating...

...Have an amazing time wherever you are or what ever the season and remember...

...and enjoy every little bit of every day...

    1. Thanks Tracey. By this time every year since I graduated I was working towards an exhibition for the Spring...I lost my mojo a bit and need to get back into the swing of things. I need to start making and researching

I'll be reading everyones blogs when I have a spare minute...or steal a little time from something else...H

    1. Thanks Lucy...I've just got behind with things...I keep putting them off and need to steal some time to make and experiment and research.

I'll hopefully be back soon with lots of interesting things to share...and of course meanwhile reading what yummy things you are cooking up.

  5. As you know I've been struggling a bit too lately trying to keep all the balls in the air and I think you're very wise to take a step back and focus on your work. I had noticed that you were doing even more wonderful posts than usual and I should have recognised a fellow procrastinator at work!!

Best of luck with finding inspiration to create (and find funding for)more wonderful artworks and projects. I'll keep an eye on your other blogs and wait patiently until you return...

    1. Thanks Caz...I'm starting to get some great ideas hopefully some will come to fruition...I'm just having to simplify a bit, like unsubscribing from a million mailing lists...Trouble is I want to keep up with what's going on everwhere...

      Enjoying your tweets...

  7. Goodness, I'm behind on my visits here (as usual). Have a wonderful time with creating and doing other things ... though I will miss your blog posts in the meantime - I know exactly what it's like to try and do everything at the same time ... invariably something suffers.

I'll be thinking of you and look forward to seeing you again here soon. xx
