Sunday

We had to go into town to do some errands on Sunday so walked along the canal bank.

I can never resist peeping inside the boats as we walk along the towpath. They're so colourful and look really cosy inside. Some have solar panels on the roof or bags of coal and piles of logs for the stoves. You can smell the fires being stoked up and get little glimpse of someone making lunch in the tiny galley. I'd love to go in and have a look round.

We spotted the Morris Dancers in Bonn Square....I'm not sure what they were celebrating and all the ponies came out to greet us as we walked back.....
