While everything looks amazing, especially the rolls, I find myself drawn to your second to the last photo and the picture of the woman, I love it!
It's a small Modigliani print. I love his work especially this particular one, partly because my aunty who was an artist had a large print of this in her studio. But I also love the subject of mother and baby, the colours and her clothes. I really like his work (not all but a lot of it) and have a few small prints dotted around the house.
Thank you Debby for the artist's name and now I know the name of your painting, gypsy Woman with Child. I will be keeping my eye out to see if I can find any of Modigliani's works here.
I keep seeing that print lately, didn't know the artist or name! Thanks. Lovely pics all around!
I'm glad that I posted it now. It is lovely.deb
gorgeous! those poppy and sesame seed rolls are calling to me. :)
They are Persian milk bread rolls, really easy to make...and very more-ish..,
I think I want to come visit your kitchen. Everything looks so delicious!
Thanks Donna, that would be so good.
Looks like you had a wonderful week in the kitchen Debby. I've been thinking lately of baking more often. It's so satisfying, isn't it? Your rolls and your muffins look fantastic. I usually love making biscotti and having it around for afternoon tea. But that's a bit of a problem then...too much yummy biscotti around the house! :)
Thanks Veronica. I did. I haven't had much time for baking over the last few weeks so it was good to find some time to indulge in some. I do find it very therapeutic...but there is the dilemma about eating it. Biscotti....ooh that would be too tempting.
Love the vibrant colors! Everything looks delicious.
thanks denise...I love the colours in fresh fruit and vegetables too. I'm always drawn to colourful food...
Oh my... everything looks so, so good! The buns, breakfasts, salad... what a delicious week! Thank you for sharing.
You are welcome. Thank you, yes it was a good week.
using the paper instead of cupcake liners is wonderful! i have been wanting that cookbook. looks amazing in your kitchen
We are in the process of packing up the house to move and I couldn't find the paper cup cases so had to improvise! I'm glad that you like them...I probably won't bother to buy them any more.I love Tessa kiros' books they are so beautiful to look at. I have to confess that her books aren't my most used...recipe wise, but probably most looked at and poured over. They are so lovely.
those buns! yum! I wish you lived closer so I could taste a teeny bite ;)
I wish so too Karn...:0(debx
Everything looks so delicious! I love your pink tulips!
Thanks Debi. I usually would choose white ones but they'd run out when I bought them. I'm glad I chose the pink instead, they make a nice change.deb
Your photos are wonderful and so inviting. Neat idea for the muffin papers, too. Seeing the bag of flour made me smile as I love anything UK... Thanks..
Thank you Faye. It's nice flour milled from not too far away. Although it's called Wessex mill, it's from right here in Oxfordshire. Debby
I love that Apples for Jam cook book! Lots of yummy looking food :)
Me too Alisa, and 'Fallen Cloudberries" too...
Your kitchen looks delicious! The rolls look great and I love your pitas as well. Yum!
Thanks. They are so easy to make...but don't last long...
All the things you make in the kitchen--from salads to buns--look absolutely scrumptious.
Thanks Susan your baking always looks amazing too.debx
Your table is surely one I would love to sit at!
You would be very welcome...deb
