We both came down with bad throats last weekend and couldn't go to Sussex as planned.....so we had a pottering lazy weekend..........

....visited the village Horticultural Society Plant Sale and bought lots of plants including a blackberry bush.......

spent a couple of hours wrapped and wellingtoned against the drizzling rain potting plants.........

... used lovely Organic eggs from a friend's chicken to make brunch.......had that debate all over again as to whether we should get some chickens.........


...made yummy hot, chili, onion and spicy sausage omelet, with green leaf salad and a big pot of filter coffee.......

... tried out Sharpham Park Organic Spelt Wholegrain Flour....


..........delicious and nutty.......


.......Impressed myself by managing to make a risotto for supper....lovely creamy comfort food.......

......popped into an Artweeks Exhibition in a church hall at night....and found myself getting obsessed with the kneelers instead of the artwork............



........watched a gently amusing, highly recommended French film by Eric Guirado.......

....hurray for weekend........
